BUONDI Surf Sessions have returned to the Portuguese beaches. The 6th edition is here, this time with the grand debut of the first sustainable eco boards adapted to special needs.
This year, Buondi Surf Sessions is exclusively dedicated to surf classes adapted for children with motor, visual or cognitive disabilities, taking place in two stages: the Matosinhos stage, which took place in August, and the Carcavelos stage on 19 September.
Lots of fun and an incredible sense of surmounting limits pervaded the baptism of the innovative sustainable eco boards produced by BUONDI in partnership with SURFaddict and Ferox Surfboards.
A 100% Portuguese innovation that meets adapted surf 's need to have wider and more substantial boards, ensuring greater stability, and showing an environmental concern of total respect for the sea.
These new boards are composed of a recycled polystyrene core and a wooden central axis, also recycled. The fibres used are of organic matter, the paints are water-based and all the materials used are environmentally friendly.
In its six years of being your beach, the BUONDI Surf Sessions have already involved more than 3,000 participants. In an especially unusual year like this one has been, it is even more indispensable to make the most of life outdoors on a daily basis.
